My practice is situated in Old Marston, Oxford. I have worked as a counsellor/psychotherapist since 1997. My therapeutic training and orientation is Integrative.

In my practice, I integrate Psychodynamic (Attachment and Inter-Subjective), Existential and Cognitive Approaches. The approach which I use with a specific client depends on the client’s needs and the length of the therapy. I give both long and short term therapy. I see individuals aswell as couples. I am also trained to give Problem-focussed Brief Therapy. Within my training I have also studied Systemic-Therapy, Couples Therapy and Pastoral Approaches.

Both my theoretical and practical training covers a wide range of issues including sexuality, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic, relationships, working with teenagers, mental problems, abuse, child sexual abuse, violence, identity confusion, family problems, marital problem, problems around self-worth, work-related problems, eating disorders, suicidal thoughts, substance abuse, stress, bereavement, spirituality, cultural problems, racism and depression.

I have worked for 8 years as a group facilitator for survivors of Child Sexual Abuse and given therapy to both male and female survivors. I have a one-year specialised training in Understanding Trauma. I have given training about Child Sexual Abuse and spoken about it in public meetings. I have several years of inter-cultural experience including training in refugee issues and I have also worked as a primary care counsellor within the NHS.
